The mission of the Veterans Benefits Administration, in partnership
with the Veterans Health Administration and the
National Cemetery Administration, is to provide benefits and services to the veterans and
their families in a responsive, timely and compassionate manner in
recognition of their service to the Nation.
Roanoke Veterans Service Center - administers a
variety of benefits and services for veterans, their dependents and
survivors.
Roanoke Regional Loan Center - Provides Home Loan
Guaranty Services in the following states: Virginia, West Virginia,
Kentucky, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
VA Acquired Properties -
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) acquires properties as a result of
foreclosures on VA guaranteed loans. These acquired properties are marketed
through a property management services contract with
Ocwen Federal Bank FSB,
West Palm Beach, Florida.
The properties are listed by local listing agents through local Multi Listing
Systems (MLS). A list of properties for sale may also be obtained from Ocwen’s
website at
http://www.ocwen.com. If you are
interested in buying a VA acquired property, you should contact a local real
estate broker to see the property. Additional information is available at

Roanoke Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment - Assists
veterans with service-related injuries achieve suitable employment or
enhance their ability to function independently at home and in the
community.
