Pension Maintenance Center

The St. Paul Pension Center was established in 2001 to process most adjustments to VA income based benefits. These include non-service connected Disability Pension, Death Pension and Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) for surviving parents. The map below shows jurisdictional areas covered by each PMC. PMCs process adjustments to benefit payments necessitated by changes in income, net worth, or dependency status. Initial claims for VA Pension, parents DIC, and all issues related to service-connected compensation continue to be processed at local VA Regional Offices. While serving the largest geographical region of the three Pension Centers, St. Paul is committed to providing outstanding customer service and timely, accurate claims processing. We are dedicated to serving those who have served.
