What will typically happen during "Voc/Ed" Counseling?

To build your confidence that the plan of action you develop through this process (with the help and guidance of your VA Counselor) you need to sort through and organize all the information you already have based in your life’s experience. To arrive fully at that position of confidence your VA Counselor will help you gather any information experience has not provided. Typically that includes testing of your basic skills and an individualized study of career paths and the job market(s) that interest you. Putting all those pieces of information together in a thoughtful manner will allow you to know that your plan provides a map to future employment that best meets all your needs.

How Do You Apply?

Call 1-800-827-1000 and tell the Veterans Service Representative you’d like to apply for Vocational/Educational Counseling and you’ll have started the process that will lead to the help you want.
