VA currently offers four online training courses geared specifically towards lenders, servicers and real estate professionals.

Informational Videos
VA has put together a series of short videos specifically for lenders. These videos may be watched on line at no cost, or purchased for $19.95 each.
Television Broadcasts
Each year, VA produces a series of live interactive television broadcasts for employees of Lenders and Brokers, Fee Appraisers and Real Estate Professionals. These broadcasts can be viewed at most VA Regional Offices, or online from your computer. Videotapes of each session are available for purchase.
Houston Initiatives:
The Houston Regional Loan Center staff routinely visits lenders throughout our four-state jurisdiction, (that includes Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma), to provide training and promote the VA Home Loan Program. We generally target each major geographic area at least once per year, and spend about a week visiting lenders in that area. We set up visits ahead of time, and spend about 45-60 minutes at each lender's office, answering their specific questions. More in-depth training can also be scheduled by contacting us ahead of time.
Additionally, we coordinate with professional organizations such as the Mortgage Bankers Association, Association of Professional Mortgage Women, and the Board of Realtors to provide more in-depth training at functions sponsored by those organizations. Loan Guaranty staff are also frequently called upon to speak at the monthly meetings of various professional organizations to share the latest information about the VA Home Loan Program.
