The new loan limits have been released!   Either check out the national website at http://www.homeloans.va.gov/loan_limits.htm or look for the New England and New York higher limit counties in our local training guide.
Lenders no longer have to send in Paid in Full Notices; these should be input directly by the servicer or lender into VALERI; guidance on this topic may be found at http://www.homeloans.va.gov/circulars/26_09_7.pdf
What is Loan Production?
Loan Production assists veterans, lenders and realtors with general questions concerning
VA's Home Loan Program which include the following items:
Questions a veteran may have concerning what the home loan guaranty benefit is, why you should use it, types of loans VA backs, the steps in a loan process, closing costs or assumptions. You may also visit the national website at www.homeloans.va.gov/veteran.
Questions a lender may have concerning VA credit standards, required paperwork, closing costs, how to obtain a guaranty, or how to become a VA lender. VA's national website contains the Lender Handbook and other valuable data at www.homeloans.va.gov/ls.
Our Washington DC office also offers training which can be watched over the Internet and a web-based underwriting course. For more information, please visit www.homeloans.va.gov/train.htm for the latest broadcast schedule and links to view the programs.
