    Important Notes or Changes:

      What is Loan Production?

      Loan Production assists veterans, lenders and realtors with general questions concerning VA's Home Loan Program which include the following items:
      • Information on obtaining a Certificate of Eligibility. You may also visit the national website at www.homeloans.va.gov/eligibility.

      • Questions a veteran may have concerning what the home loan guaranty benefit is, why you should use it, types of loans VA backs, the steps in a loan process, closing costs or assumptions. You may also visit the national website at www.homeloans.va.gov/veteran.

      • Questions a lender may have concerning VA credit standards, required paperwork, closing costs, how to obtain a guaranty, or how to become a VA lender. VA's national website contains the Lender Handbook and other valuable data at www.homeloans.va.gov/ls.
