Former Prisoners of War Initiatives
To increase awareness and use of VA benefits and services for former Prisoners Of War
(POW) and their dependents, Outreach Meetings are held at various locations throughout the
Waco Regional Office's jurisdiction. The POW Coordinator for the Waco Regional
Office organizes the events and provides an in-depth briefing on VA benefits for former
POWs. An information paket is available which includes a guide to VA disability and
death benefits and medical services.
